Teething

The discomfort of teeth coming into the mouth can cause your baby to become irratable.  You can ease some of the deiscomfort by lightly rubbing the gums of the baby with a finger or wet cloth.  A cool teething ring can also help soothe the baby's gums. 
When the first teeth appear, on a daily basis begin using a children's soft-bristle toothbrush to clean the teeth. 
Giving your baby regular oral cleanings agter each meal instills good habits early in life.
