Please be sure to use sunscreen when you go outdoors.  I have experienced basil cell skin cancer 4 times, so this is a very personal issue.

-If you exercise, you should wear a sweat-resistant, waterproof SPF.  Be sure to reapply every two hours.

-Use a daily moisturizer with SPF.  It’s an easy way to have coverage anytime.

-Make sure you use SPF on face everyday, if you have oily or oily skin they make oil-free or hypoallergenic.

UVA rays are deep penetrating rays that tan the skin, but cause premature aging and may cause melanoma.  UVB rays are the strongest during summer months and cause skin-damaging burns and can contribute to skin cancer.

*If you are thinking of using a tanning bed instead of being outside, investigate this issue on-line.  There are several studies that link tanning beds with skin cancer!
